Great weekend with Mary and Matthew!

Greg's daughter, Mary, and her husband, Matthew, came to visit from Columbus this weekend. It was fun to spend some time talking and catching up. One of our favorite things to do with first-time visitors to the 'Burgh is to ride the Duquesne Incline to the top of Mount Washington and have dinner on top of the hill overlooking the skyline. We haven't had any first-timers for a while, so it was a treat for us, too, to ride downtown in Greg's new car and navigate the snowy parking lot to the bottom of the incline. Here is the required picture of Mary and Matthew with the skyline in the background. Don't they look great? As soon as we took the picture, we went to the restaurant to get warm. It was 20-something out there and a little breezey. Brrrrrr!

We have had a few hours of temperatures above freezing today, and the sun actually shone this afternoon. It was a beautiful weekend in many respects, but it was really great to relax and spend time with family. It was a wonderful time eating and talking and looking out over our beautiful city skyline with lights.
